A member of the famed Kennedy family, Tatiana Schlossberg, died on Tuesday after a November disclosure of a uncommon blood cancer diagnosis.

News of her death was announced in a public statement from the presidential library.
“Our beautiful Tatiana passed away this morning. She will always be in our hearts.”
Understanding the Illness
In a personal essay this past fall, Schlossberg revealed that she had been found to have a type of blood cancer with a specific genetic mutation.
This form of cancer is a cancer that originates in the blood and bone marrow.
Those close to her is seeking space as they grieve.
